Sweetwater Tower

Built in 1872, the Sweetwater Tower was lovingly reconstructed in 1983, creating one of Mendocino’s most unique accommodations. This sunny and private room is prized by those seeking romance and renewal and is equipped with a queen bed upstairs, a mini-refrigerator, a coffee maker, and bottled water. The downstairs bathroom and spa area are shared with other spa guests from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sweetwater Tower guests have use of the private hot tub after spa business hours and early mornings. Robes are provided for your spa usage, and best of all, guests enjoy unlimited after-hours private tub and sauna privileges from about 10:15 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following day. Day use of the communal hot tub and sauna is limited to 1.50 hours per day. Please check with the Spa Desk Attendant for usage due to an 8-person maximum allowed in the communal hot tub at any given time. Please note: the Spa is co-ed and clothing-optional. This tower room is unsuitable for children. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
