House Policies

Rates-

Rates quoted are for Double Occupancy. A $35.00 Fee Applies for each additional person per night in rooms that can accommodate more than two guests. Children aged four and under stay for free.

Cleaning Fees –

A one-time Cleaning Fee applies to:

• Redwood Tower – $125
• Sears Tower – $125
• Garden Cottage – $100

Guests will be charged the first night’s stay, plus tax, at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due and payable on the day of check-in, including the Non-refundable Cleaning Fee. If your reservation is made in less than 7 days before your arrival, the full amount of your stay is collected as your deposit at the time of reservation.

Reservations –

A two-night minimum stay is required any day of the week or weekend, and a three-night minimum stay is required on major holidays. Please call our Innkeeper to inquire about a one-night exception at 1-800-300-4140. A one-night exception is not guaranteed and may not be possible. Please call to inquire about availability.

Deposits –

A Deposit for the first night’s stay, plus tax, is required to reserve your room. For multiple rooms being booked, each room reserved must have a Deposit to secure your desired dates.

If your stay is one night only, the full amount will be taken as your Deposit.

Major credit cards are accepted – VISA, Visa Debit cards, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

If you pay in Cash, you must have a valid credit card on file for incidentals.

Cancellations & Changed Reservations –

Sweetwater Inn and Spa is a small local Inn. If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $35 Cancellation Fee. If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before your arrival, you will be charged the full amount of your reservation and forfeit any refund. If a reservation date change is requested and granted 7 days or more before your check-in date, a $35.00 Reservation Change Fee will be applied to your reservation for processing.

*Exception – Reservations made on or after July 1, 2024, have free cancellation 24 hours after booking is confirmed. Only applies to reservations made 72 hours or more to arrival of stay, and must be refunded within 30 days of cancellation, (CA Senate Bill 644).  To simplify, reservations made within 72 hours of check-in, the 24-hour cancellation policy does not apply.

Check In and Check Out –

Check-in time is from 4 pm to 6 pm. Check-out time is promptly at 11 am. Thank you! We appreciate your understanding to prepare the room for the next guest.
For late arrivals after 6 pm, please call the office for arrangements.

Smoking-

There is no smoking in any of our rooms. Smoking is limited to outside areas only. A charge for excessive cleaning and any lost income will be applied to guests smoking in their rooms.
